It looked like 2012 couldn’t have been better for Michael than last year when his CD ‘Christmas’ sold well over half-a-million copies in Canada, making it the second largest selling CD of 2011, as well as 7 million copies worldwide. But with the stunning news that Bublé had already sold out 10 shows (144,000 seats) beginning June 30th, 2013 at London’s famed 02 Arena in a matter of minutes, there’s no question that 2012 will be another landmark year for Michael Bublé and one that reaffirms his enormous global success.
Early signs indicate a second year of strong sales for the Michael Bublé CHRISTMAS CD, which has already re-entered the Top 10 on the Canadian Nielsen Soundscan Top Albums chart, and is destined to be cemented there through the remainder of the season.
December brings several high profile Bublé televised appearances including his upcoming second annual holiday special; “Home for the Holidays,” filmed in his home of Vancouver which will be airing December 10 at 10:00 PM EST (8:00 PM MT, 9:00 PM CT) on Citytv affiliates in Toronto, Winnipeg, Saskatchewan, Calgary, Edmonton and Vancouver. The second annual special includes guest performances by Shelton, Rod Stewart, Elmo and Carly Rae Jepsen.
