Michael has been between Los Angeles and Vancouver since early September writing and recording songs for his highly anticipated new ALBUM! He has spent time at Vancouver's Warehouse Studio, as well as Capital Studios in LA and Fosters Studio in Malibu. He has been working with producers, Bob Rock (Metallica, Motley Crue), as well as David Foster. Michael plans to include at least a dozen tracks, including two brand new originals. There's also talk of a surprise duet! If all goes well, the yet-to-be-named album will be available Spring 2007.

Following the make up show in Albuquerque, New Mexico early this month, Michael flew to Las Vegas to perform at the Andre Agassi Grand Slam for Children Gala. The event took place at the MGM Grand Garden Arena October 7th. Michael performed three songs, including Last Dance and This Songs For You. Other celebrity guests included Phil Collins, Sarah McLachlan, and John Mayer. The foundation raised more than $8.6 million dollars which will assist charities for under privileged, abused and abandoned children and will provide recreation and education for at risk youth. David Foster served as the Musical Director for the 11th Year.

Tony Bennett's new album Duets: An American Classic is doing very well since it's release September 26th. It entered the Billboard Top 200 charts at No. 3 and debuted at #1 on the Canadian charts. Michael & Tony's duet, Just In Time' is an album favorite. Fans in the USA can purchase a limited edition exclusive CD/DVD at Target Stores. It includes four bonus duets with Judy Garland, Frank Sinatra, Diana Krall and Michael performing Steppin' Out With My Baby'. Michael is also featured on the upcoming Tony Bennett television special scheduled to air on NBC late November.

In a day where selling albums is not an easy achievement, Michael's latest release, It's Time has sold 5 million units worldwide. It's Time hits three million Internationally, and two million have been sold in America alone! As this album starts to wind down, here's how Michael did around the world!

The album is 6 times Platinum in Canada, 4 times Platinum in Australia and Italy, double Platinum in Singapore and USA. Platinum in the UK, Austria, Germany, Holland, Hong Kong, Indonesia, Ireland, Switzerland, Taiwan and South Africa. Belgium, France, Philippines, Sweden and Thailand Countries achieved Gold status.

It's Time spent an amazing 71 weeks in the No. 1 spot on Billboard's Contemporary Jazz charts, and the internationally acclaimed hit song, Home' reached No. 1 on charts in more than 10 countries, including Canada, Japan and Italy.
