It looked like Michael couldn’t have a better 2012 than he did last year when his CD ‘Christmas’ sold over 2.5 million copies in the US (second largest selling CD following Adele) and 7 million copies worldwide. But beginning with the stunning news that Bublé already sold out 10 shows (144,000 seats) beginning June 30th, 2013 at London’s famed 02 Arena in a matter of minutes following a single ad on UK’s X-Factor, there’s no question that 2012 will be another landmark year for Michael Bublé and one that reaffirms his enormous global success, especially in the UK where the CHRISTMAS album has already gone six times platinum (1.8 million) and spent three weeks in the No. 1 spot last year.

Early signals indicate that prospects are excellent for a second year of strong sales for the Michael Bublé CHRISTMAS CD, which is already top 10 on ITunes in several countries. Bublé’s label Reprise Records has teamed up this year with Wal-Mart, Beringer Wine, Target and Starbucks for several major marketing campaigns in conjunction with the CHRISTMAS album’s re-release this year.

December also brings several high profile Bublé appearances including his upcoming 2nd Annual NBC Holiday Special “Home For the Holidays” filmed in his native Vancouver which will be airing December 10th at 10 pm EST and proceeded by a performance on NBC’s hit show “The Voice” where Bublé mentored Blake Shelton’s team on a series of shows that ran last month. The 2nd annual special includes guest performances by Blake Shelton, Rod Stewart, Elmo and Carly Rae Jepsen and follows up his hugely successful Christmas Special that aired last year on NBC.

The Canadian superstar is also scheduled to appear on the Today show and Jimmy Fallon both on December 3rd.

Bublé has been hard at work putting the finishing touches on his new studio album which is scheduled to be released around late March 2013.
