With over 25 million albums sold, and a shelf full of Grammy and Juno Awards, Reprise / Warner Bros. recording artist Michael Bublé has been selected as the Italian-Canadian of the Year for 2011 as chosen by the members of Confratellanza Italo-Canadese Society in Vancouver, B.C. In making the announcement, the Society’s president, Angelo Holmes stated, “Each year the Society selects a distinguished recipient who has personally and publically achieved the most in bringing honor to the Italian-Canadian Community and the province of British Columbia.” The Confratellanza Italo-Canadese will celebrate this auspicious occasion at the 107th Columbus Day banquet to be held at the Italian Culture Centre, 3075 Slocan Street, Vancouver, B.C. on Saturday, October 1st, at 7:00pm.
