Michael joined a host of acclaimed performers in Las Vegas this weekend to pay tribute to songwriter David Foster. The star studded show took place at the Event Center at Mandalay Bay in Vegas on Friday, May 23rd. Andrea Bocelli, Alicia Keys, Josh Groban, John Mayer, Babyface, Kenny G and others performed some of David's biggest hits. The concert highlighted Foster's 35 year career as a songwriter and producer who not only nurtured careers of many artists, but also created chart-topping hits for Michael, Josh Groban, Barbra Streisand, Celine Dion, Whitney Houston, Madonna, and many others.

The show was highlighted by a series of dramatic duets. Michael and Blake Shelton traded lines on the wistful rendition of "Home". Backed by a band that included members of the Las Vegas Symphony and David Foster at the piano, Michael purred through a neo-jazz swing version of Save The Last Dance For Me.

David Foster and Friends will be broadcast in December on PBS stations nationwide. A CD/DVD of the show will be released by Warner Bros. Records this fall.
